The buildings straddling the canal was the grain store built after the 1st
World War.
Above the arches on the right is the
Hilton Hotel, built on the site of the former coal depot railway yard.
(below) A view of the main entrance at Wharf Street taken from the pedestrian bridge which crosses over Sheaf Street.
