Sheaf Square
Left of photo is Midland Railway Station with
the Claywood high rise flats at the top of Shrewsbury Road (in the process
of being demolished). The blue office block was the Railway offices soon to
be demolished for road widening. The centre building is the newly built railway
station multi storey car park. Ahead is Suffolk Road with Leadmill Road &
Shoreham Street bearing off to the right. The off white building on the right
is the multiplex cinema on Paternoster Row which leads on to Brown Street.
Extreme right of photo right is Howard Street.
