RAMC Palestine WW1
Did an ancestor serve with the RAMC in Palestine in the First
World War ? If so , he may be on one of the photos in the top section below.
Sheffield born George Needham served throughout the First World War in the Royal Army Medical Corps, first in " France" from April 1915 (though probably in Ypres which is in Belgium) then with Allenby's Egyptian Expeditionary Force which swept through Palestine and Syria and may well have moved over to Mesopotamia at the end. With at least two Sheffield men the photos, it is possible that there may be other Sheffield men. . R Spencer
