J&ETKNIGHT GRAVE

Fowler Cemetery is about three miles South of Middelburg, in Clay County, Fla. In the midd 1800's Duval County included what is now Clay County. The records that show Jonathan Knight having died in Duval are correct.
To get to the cemetery you go South from Middelburg on State Rd. 21 just pass State Rd. 215. The road will dip down to cross Bull Creek and rise up to where Santa Clara Ave. and Hall Borss meet at State Rd 21.
Turn right onto Santa Clara and go about three block to the first dirt road on the right. Turn right onto Chipmunk Rd. and follow it, keeping to the left as it turns west. The cemetery will be on your right, marked by a very small green sign.
Jonathan & Elizabeth Knight are buried in the very back on the right side.
Note - The original head stones were removed by vandals. Only the foot markers were left. Old photographs were used to replace the originals.
