 RAY CARLTON 80 of 19018 Niver Rd. Oakley, passed away Monday Oct. 22, 1973 at Owosso Memorial Hospital. Mr. Carlton was born April 16, 1893 in Chesaning Township. He married Bethel Walter June 25, 1927 in Sterling, who predeceased him. He was a retired farmer. The funeral was held Wed. Oct. 24, at Morse Chapel, with Rev. Walter Ratcliffe officiating. Burial was at Wildwood cemetery, Chesaning. Surviving him is 1 son, Junior Carlton of Oakley. 1 daughter, Mrs. Peter Strickland of Coleman, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Albert Carlton of Oakley.
