John Behmlander  

John Behmlander, 61, a resident farmer of Monitor township, Bay county, was killed almost instantly, Wednesday when the automobile he was driving collided with one driven by Joseph Taylor of Jackson on M-47 in Bay County , near the Saginaw county line.  He suffered a skull fracture, according to Coroner Raphael D. Stapish of Bay County .  Born Oct. 8, 1880, in Frakenlust township, Bay county, he was a lifelong resident of Bay County and a member of Monitor Lutheran church.  He leaves his wife Mary; three sons and one daughter, Edward of Miami , Fla. , Richard and Oscar of Monitor township, Martin of Frankenlust township, Mrs. Henry Wegener of Freeland,

Mrs. William Wegener of Auburn .  The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home and at 2:30 at Monitor Lutheran church.  Rev. Herman Potzger will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
