Widow of Frederick Evans passed away Sunday, July 22, 1979, at Martin Luther Home after a brief illness. Age 88 years. Marion Curtis was born August 30, 1890, in Fisherville moving to Hemlock in 1935. She was married to Mr. Evans August 13, 1921, in Saginaw. He predeceased her in 1976. She attended Hemlock United Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, George Evans, Hemlock; Robert Evans, Saginaw, Mrs. Harold (Marion) Schornick, Hemlock; 17 grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will take place wednesday afternoon at a time to be announced later. Friends may call at the Cederberg Funeral Home in Saginaw after 12:00 noon on Tuesday where the family will be present from noon until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Those who so desire may make memorials to the Martin Luther Home or the Hemlock United Methodist Church.
