Passed away Thursday, February 17, 1994. Age 66 years. He was born January 28, 1928 in Saginaw and was a lifelong resident. He was married to Mae M. Kozak on June 10, 1950. She survives him. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He had been employed by Nodular Iron as a pipe fitter for 21 years with a total of 35 years for General Motors Corp retiring in 1991. Mr. Foor was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Post # 9809. surviving besides his wife are two sons, three daughters and their spouses. Anna Marie and David Chaltraw, Bryan, Ohio, William III and Kathy Foor, Saginaw, Linda and Karl Keller, Springfield, Mo, Kimberly and Bradley Meyers, Bay City; Daniel Foor, Ypsilanti; 11 grandchildren, Dawn, Joh, david, William, Carrie, Stephanie, Sarah, Jennifer, Kent, Kortni, and Daniel Jr.; two great-grandchildren, beth-Marie and Jacob; his father, William Foor Sr., Farwell one brother and one sister, Albert Foor, Midland and Margaret Evans, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. His mother Florence Foor and a brother Donald Foor predeceased him.
Mass of Christian burial will take place 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 21, 1994 at St. John Vianney Catholic church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Military services will be conducted by V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may call at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. between Shattuck and McCarty where the family will be present from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and on Monday at St. John Vianney Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Snow Funeral Home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Heart Assoc. of Michigan or St. John Vianney Church.
