Passed away Tuesday, July 26, 1994 at MidMichigan Regional Medical Center in Midland at the age of 90. He was born on March 17, 1904 in West Branch, Michigan the son of Edward and Minnie (Trumble) Foor. he married the former Florence DuPraw in 1923 and she predeceased him in 1959. He then married Ida Wardell in 1967. Mr. Foor was a retired millwright for 38 years at Central Foundry. He retired in 1965. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 455. He moved to Farwell 28 years ago from Saginaw. He is survived by his wife Ida; one son, Alber and Mary Kay Foor of Midland; two daughters, Margaretta and Robert evans of Saginaw and Elaine and Gene Tibbs of Ohio; a daughter-in-law Mae Foor of Saginaw; three sisters, Loretta Miller and Viola Stevens, both of Midland and Marie Doane of Beaverton; 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, William Jr. and Donald Foor.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare, Michigan with Mr. Brian Guillot officiating. Burial will be in Surrey Twp. Cemetery in Farwell. Friends may call at the funeral hom from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday.
