EDDINGS FAMILY REUNION – APRIL 26, 2008
34th ANNUAL REUNION

Please mark your calendars with a return to last Saturday in April (April 26) for this year's reunion and will be at the permanent place: Hart Memorial Park, Bakersfield, CA.

Place: Section 11 of Hart Memorial Park, Bakersfield, CA. The small black chalkboard usually has the name “EDDINGS” on it and marked reserved. Also, our blue and white banner should be displayed on the ground close to the roadside.

Directions: From intersection of Panorama Drive and Mt. Vernon Avenue in northeast Bakersfield ( right next to Bakersfield Junior College), follow posted signs going North and then Northeast on Alfred Harrell Highway about 6 - 7 miles to Hart Park. Inside entrance of park, take first road veering to the left - Sections 11 will be posted as RESERVED. It is on the left side of road just past concession stand and boat rental building. There will be a blue banner with white letters spelling EDDINGS.

Water and restroom facilities available; no electricity.

Time: Usually start around 11 to 12 and we can stay until dark.

Bring: Family and friends; Family and historical photographs, old and new; Family records; Family legends, written or taped or verbal; Favorite recipes; Outdoor games; Musical instruments; Singers

Food to share, beverages to drink.

Please come and get acquainted, reacquainted, and socialize with everyone. We don’t get to spend much time with extended family any more and everyone really has a good time reminiscing and trading stories and memories.

Also, be sure to check out the Eddings website at rootsweb.com for family photos. Bring any photos that you would like to have put on the web site of your family.

Due to the increased cost of renting the section at Hart Park and stamps and duplicating, please donate $5 for the reunion to Joyce McPherson at 2724 Noble Avenue Bakersfield CA 93306.
