unidentified men behind Albert & Mary
Albert was
born in Indiana December of 1835 or 1837. His parent’s names are unknown for
certain at this time, but I believe them to be Archibald and Huldy. Archibald
born abt 1805-1815 in Ohio. Huldy born 1816 in North Carolina. Huldy’s
parents were from Kentucky.
November 8th,
1857 in Greene County, Iowa, Albert married Mary Seaman who was born September
1st, 1840 in Indiana. Mary may well have been the firstborn child
and named after her mother Mary, who was born in OH about 1824. The 1880
census finds her a widow and living 2 farms away from Albert & Mary Gibson.
Albert and
Mary were the parents of 6 children,
1. Anne Aliza born in Kearney,
Buffalo County, Nebraska 3-19-1859 and died 4-8-1864 (birthplace info. might
be incorrect, possibly IA)
2. Henry L. born July 25th,
1862 in Kearney, died April 20th, 1864. (birthplace info. might
be incorrect, possiably IA)
3. Isaac
Wilson (Ike)
born July 7th, 1868 in Iowa, married Ethel Wise October 22nd,
1922, his date of death unknown,
4. Fred
Garfield
born March 2nd, 1881 in Iowa, married Charlotte
Estella Anthony December 12th, 1903 in Lexington, Nebraska, died April 14th,
1953,
5. Unknown son born October 3rd,
1882 in Iowa and died January 6th, 1883
6. Cora Edna, born July 9th,
1884 in Iowa married Charles H. Pitts on July 3rd, 1905 and died
October 2nd, 1909.
