Make yourself comfortable,
FamilySearch-L@Rootsweb is an e-mail list where
Everybody is just too helpful for
words. So snuggle down in the slippers, make
sure you have something to drink, and just lean over the
E-Fence and chat with us.
This website will help make using an E-mail list easier for
everyone. There are links here to help with
general housekeeping, and others to help us use the
Internet better as we search for our family roots.
And of course there is that nifty
little place where we help each other out by doing
Look-up's on the restricted records at the Family History
Library in Salt Lake City, Utah
Rootsweb (the best free exchange site on the web) links
us together and FamilySearch-L is a bunch of people from
all over the world. Through e-mail our members
share tips, and solve problems on how to use the Internet
to discover our Family Trees. In fact, our
names sake is the largest Internet Family History Research
site on the Web. This is our way of
"Keeping in Touch", sharing our success, and figuring out
just how we can use the secrets of the web.
Since we all are new at this, it makes sense to share.
So feel free to look around, and by all
means feel free to join our group. &nbso;Anyone who
wants to share and isn't too bossy is welcome.
