I felt bad about the fact that the 1795 Map elsewhere on the site doesn't include Accomac and Northampton Counties.

Here are three maps, Blunt's map of the Chesapeake Bay region from 1861 and a Colton's railroad map from 1881, which show the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Blunt's map seems to contain errors, but as a general guide it's what people had in 1861, and there may be no errors on the Virginia part. The third is an 1893 Postal Route Map, which is very interesting since it shows the land and water transportation links and it shows the official post offices.
