Peter's Great Uncle Henry's "EMIGRANT ANCESTORS: JOHN AND BETHIA HALL" was my starting point for this line.

The ancestry chart below shows the direct paternal line for Peter. However, if you go to the page for Edward John Flanagan and Emma Augusta Hall, you can trace Emma's ancestry back to the early 16th century, including a 9x Great-Uncle who came over on the Mayflower.

As for the Irish ancestry, the story goes that Thomas Flanagan was born in Ireland. He moved to Liverpool, England where he met and married Mary Wood (who was born and raised in Liverpool). From census records, it looks like Alice was born in Ireland and the rest of the children were born in New York, making their immigration around 1875-1876. Any help tracing this line back to Ireland would be greatly appreciated!
