** More information on F.M. Sanger

F.M. SANGER was a Captian and Company Comander of Company 'A' for the Second Creek Volunteers for the Confederacy.  He was a white man.

His wife Hanna L. was a Creek Indian.

We Always called the cemetery the Spike 'S' Ranch Cemetery.  F.M. SANGER and his half-brother George SANGER owned the Ranch which ran about 5,000 head of cattle.  The land was lost after the Civil War when the Federal Government opened the Creek land for settlement.  This was seen as punishment to the Creeks for most of the tribe supporting the Confederacy.  This information sent by John G.
