A brilliant social event which occurred in our quiet village Tuesday evening was the marriage of John A. Cossaunne to Miss Ambronetta Horrell, both of this place. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride, Mrs. W.W. Horrell, Rev. C. Luther McConnell, pastor of the Lutheran church officiating. At the conclusion a reception was tendered, which was largely attended by invited guests, at which a very elegant collation was served tot he assembled guests. The presents received were handsome, some of them quite valuable, The band boys were on hand and rendered some very choice and select music which was highly appreciated by all who heard it. The groom is a young man having many friends in this section, while the bride is a fine young lady and has a host of friends in this community, We unite with their many friends in wishing their married life may be one of unalloyed happiness and prosperity.
