Most Sloan immigrants are from Ireland, , usually protestants from Northern Ireland . This page started out as an attempt to list and link all the Sloan immigrants.  However, that quickly turned into a lot of work just to maintain the the links.  I have decided to use this page as a sampling of the different origins of Sloans/Sloanes/Slones and also to list the patriarch of some of the more prominent Sloan lines.  If your Sloan immigrant ancestor is not here and you would like him listed, drop me note.
