I have heard it said, but don't know if it is reliable that the unmarked field stone next to Lavinia Hopkins is that of Alexander Taylor son of Cornelius and Sarah Ann "Sally" Walker Taylor.
Horn Branch Baptist Church holds service at this cemetery on the last Sunday in the month of September every year. Rev. Lonnie Collett is the preacher and his father is buried here. All are welcome to attend and they have a large dinner afterwards at the base of the cemetery.
