Further evidence of Joseph Ilalaole's marriage
to Mele Malamalama Pa on the 1910 Federal Census for Kapaa Town,
Kawaihau District, Kauai Island, Territory of Hawaii. Enumeration
District: 4; Sheet Number 18B. Lily Ah-Nee (youngest daughter of
Mele's marriage to second husband, Fun-Kum-Liu Ah-Nee) appears in
the household of her half-brother, Joseph Ilalaole, Jr.
*There
are several references (mostly on the Family Search site) that point
to Joseph Ilalaole's middle name as being "Kamehameha," but I have
not been able to substantiate this through any historical records.
