John Richard Fraser (son of William MacKay Fraser and Ellen Harkness) was born June 24, 1910 in Arnprior, Ontario, Canada,and died 1980 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
He was a Squadron Leader with the Royal Canadian Airforce.
He enlisted with the RCAF in September 1929, and attended a fitter-rigger course in Camp Borden.
'Jack' was stationed at Winnipeg until his release in 1932.
Re-enlisting in November 1937, he was posted to Rockcliffe, where he was employed in photo operations.
He served in the aeronautical engineering branch at various air force stations in Canada, retiring in 1959.
He married (1) Mary Cecilia Mayotte(born in Ottawa, died August 10, 1974, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Mayotte in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada; and married (2) Evelyn.
