The town of Erving was established in 1677. Deerfield gave land to start the following towns:

	Greenfield       1753
	Conway           1767
	Shelburne        1768

then Deerfield gave additional land to Conway in 1791, to Whately in 1810, Conway in 1811 and to Greenfield in 1896.
The first documented HOLBROOK that I have found so far is Nancy... who is actually from Hadley, but it is recorded in Deerfield in 1838.
