First, John Carryke owes 4 measures of beans worth 2s. These are the debts which he owes: first, he owes Daniel Brenan 8s. Item, he owes Patrick Riagh 5s. Item, to John Kelly 8s. Item, he owes Rosina Ryagh 5s. Item, he owes Maurice mcMORGH [Mark Murphy] 20d. Item, he owes for rent of land L3.5.4. Item, he owes John Griffyn 12d. Item, he owes Daniel mcMORGH 12d. Item, to Malachy Corryser one couple acre of wheat and oats worth 12s. Sum L5.4.7 Portion of the deceased 40s5d. In the name of God. Amen. I, Dermot aforesaid, though weak in body yet sound in mind, do make my testament in this manner: first, I bequeath my soul to Almighty God, St. Mary and all the Saints, and my body to be buried in the church of St. Kevin: also I bequeath to Sir Richard Trevers 12d.
