Anton E. Hanson was born in Norway in 1857 and came to America in 1882,
coming directly to Byron, where he lived three years and then located
on a farm in Salem township. In 1887 he moved to a farm in Kalmar
township, where he is now living. He was four years one of the
supervisors of Kalmar township.
