Oldest known ancestor is Dennis Gaddis, b. approximately 1808 in North Carolina married Nancy NN. Although, there had been mention in the family of an Archibald Gaddis who would have been born around 1790 in North Carolina.

Dennis and Nancy had at least one son, Washington Gaddis, born in 1842 in Lumpkin Co, GA. And, Washington had a son, Doc Fulton McGill Gaddis.
