John GADDIS b. 1810-1814 in Randolph County NC married Sarah RUSH, b. abt 1812, on August 2, 1831 in Randolph County NC. John's parents are unknown. Suspected to be John Gaddis SR. and Rebecca Morgan or Wood but not sure. Sarah is the daughter of Michael Rush and Hannah Commons.
John and Sarah had 8 children all born in NC. 1) Louise or Louisa b. abt 1832, 2) Michael Kelly b. Jan 1836, 3) Cynthia b. abt 1842, 4) Hannah b. abt 1843, 5) Zebedee b. abt 1845, 6) Sarah b. abt 1847, 7) Mary b. abt 1849, 8) John Washington b. abt 1850.
John and Sarah and family were in Randolph County NC in 1850. In 1860 they reside in Shelby County IL and in 1870 they are in Franklin County KS.
John's son, Michael Kelly GADDIS, married Dorcas Jane NANTZ October 1861 in Shelby County IL. Michael and Dorcas moved from IL to KS then to MO and then to Yavapai County AZ where they settled in 1875.
