I am searching my ggreat Grandfather, John GEDDES born: abt. 1852 ? Died 1890 in Lancaster. (Stonemason, journeyman)

married: 18 December 1874,aged 22, 13 Oakfield Terrace, Hillhead, Partick, Lanark, to:

Margaret RUSSELL born: 5 April 1852, in Dumfries. Immigrated to N.Z.at the age of 55, in 1908 on board the 'Corinthic' with 5 grown up children.

Their children were:
William, born 1876 in Scotland,died Wellington,N.Z.
Margaret, born 1879 in Bolton Le Sands, Lancaster, died N.Z.
Elizabeth, born 1881 Lancaster, died U.K.
Jenny, born ? died U.K.
Fanny born ? 1885 died Wellington, N.Z.
Robert born ? 1887 died, N.Z.
Alexander born, 3 Sept 1889, Lancaster. Died Wellington, N.Z.

John's Father:
John GEDDES born abt. 1815 in Tongland, Kirkcudbright. (Quarryman)
married Nov 1838 in Dumfries, to: Elizabeth MCTURK born abt. 1816 in Dumfries.

John's brothers:
William GEDDES born: 1854 in Colvend, Kirkcudbright.
Robert McTurk GEDDES born: 1855 in Dumfries, Dumfries (on Robert's birth certificate, it had that he already had 4 brothers & 2 sisters).

John's (1815) father was Robert GEDDES, married Janet MURDOCH

Margaret's parents:
William RUSSELL born: Kinross, died pre 1874
Margaret HETHERINGTON born: Troqueer, Dumfries, died pre 1874
