Here are a few maternal lines that may be of interest.  I am only including the basic structure, if you are interested in further information please let me know.  I have also included the early generations on a few important families in Gallup genealogy.  The families of Walter Palmer, George Denison, Thomas Miner, James Avery, and William Chesebrough.  You will find that many of the early Gallups have ancestry within these families.  If you have an interesting maternal line to add...please let me know!

Elizabeth Tilley and John Howland were both Mayflower passengers.  John Howland was a servant to John Carver.  He was one of two single men who were on the Mayflower, George Soule being the other.  Elizabeth Tilley came with her parents John Tilley and Joan Hurst.   She was the youngest child of her family and the rest of her siblings stayed in England.  John  & Joan Tilley died in that first winter in Plymouth.  Elizabeth Tilley was only 14 years old when her parents died.  She married John Howland two years later in 1623.  Both lived long lives and had 10 children over their lifetime.
 

Edward Fuller and his son Samuel and brother Dr. Samuel Fuller arrived in America aboard the Mayflower.  Edward Fuller died in the first winter in Plymouth as did almost half of the colony. 

Christopher Gore, a cousin of Hannah Gore's, graduated from Harvard College in 1776. He donated a great deal of money to Harvard and his funds helped to build Gore Hall which became the college library that serviced Harvard University for 75 years.  There is an article on  Christopher Gore on Harvard's website.  It is located at

Hannah Lake came to this country, arriving October 6, 1635, on the ship ABIGAIL, with her sister and widowed mother. On this same voyage, Elizabeth Reade Winthrop, sister of Margaret and wife of John Winthrop, Jr. returned to this country.  A note about Hannah Lake's ancestry - there is a great deal of controversy about her ancestry.  There are a few different snags...but tradition has it going back several hundred years into royal lines.  I can't tell you one way or another whether or not it has validity...however, personally I believe that anytime you get beyond the 1600's you are on shaky ground!
