PAT McCLURE, THE HATTER

OLD MAN PAT McCLURE, THE HATTER

Old Man Pat McClure made rabbit skin hats and sold them for seven or eight dollars. He paid the boys about five cents for two jack rabbits to make them with. They were colored like rabbit skin, with broad thick brims, heavy hats, and they caused trouble when the wind would blow hard. Did not recall where his shop was. He sold lots of hats.
