THE POTTSES

Captain Tom Potts ran for sheriff but was beaten. Think he ran against Gentry, or at least, that bunch. He was a brother to old Squire Potts, who wrote deeds, though not always too well, and the justice of the peace out at Pottsville for years.

(Uncle Tom Roddy told us that he sorta thought his father stood in with the Gentry bunch.)
