THE OLD HOTEL

A man named Griffith, first name John, I think, built the old hotel on the corner of the square at Hamilton. He was not a brother to the man who was killed by the Indians in 1860, shot by arrows along with Old Parson White, who recovered. Between Gatesville and Hamilton. The Boldings lived in the log house after Grandma did. He did not know who built it.
