HOW THEY CO-OPERATED

A Lampasas or Comanche gang leader would come to Hamilton, and visa versa--and tell them to come over and take care of a man. It seemed that they worked together in this way, for they would be strangers, and might more easily get away without identification. He remembered when Jack Wright, Comanche saloon keeper and the gang leader, came over and looked up G----- about the Baileys. Saw them sitting in the old stairway down the street near where Williams hardware store was located.
