TRANSCRIPTION


In the name of God Amen. the twentieth day of Septemb:r
in the year of our Lord sixteene hundred eighty.  I W:m 
Heath being sick in body but sound of memory takeing into
Serious Consideration the unsertaine estate of this transitory
life doe make and appoynt this my last Will and Testament in
Such manner & forme as ffolloweth.

Imp:mis I give my soule to God trusting through the merits of my blessed
Saviour to have a full remission of all my sins; & doe desire
my body should be decently [buried] at the discretion of my loving
wife

Item I make my wife Margery Heath my whole & sole executrix
of this my Will & Testament.

It:m I give and bequeath unto by eldest son Abraham Heath
x & his heirs and forever
^ three hundred & fivety Acres of Land lying in Charles Citty
County and also a bill of Jho: Busby of fower hundred and
 seaventy pds of tob:o and caske.

It I give and bequeath unto my youngest son Adam Heath and his
heirs forever three hundred acres of land vis. one hundred
and fivety lying in Surry and the other hundred and fivety in
Charles Citty County also two bills one of James Watkins of
three hundred & fivety & the other of Jn:o  Miniards(?) of
fower hundred pds of tob:o and caske

It I give unto Sarah and Elizabeth the daughters of my said
sonns and theire heirs forever fivety acres of land-
formerly bought of Edmond Howell, to have and enjoy
after my wifes decease

Lastly I give unto my two sonns jointly a dark colored stone
house // Witnessed by my hand and seale the day and year abovewrit

These words & his heirs forever were    William {symbols} Heath seale red
