JESUS WAS IN CONSTANT PRAYER, HIMSELF

    FAITH AND PRAYER INSPIRATIONS

We need small harbors in our soul
Where we can slip out of the sea
To wait a moment and be whole.
A book, a poem, a song may be enough,
    some exercise, a walk,
    A solitary labor,
    A dog, a cat, a garden, talk
Shared with a passing friend or neighbor
    Sometimes the merest human touch;
A silent prayer is such a place-
Small harbors may be nothing much,
But, ah, they have a saving grace.

    SMALL HARBORS
    By James Dillet Freeman

Prayer has been known to bring the greatest of the giants down.

    There is Power in Prayer.

"Be Strong And Of Good Courage; Be Not Frightened, Neither Be Dismayed; For

The Lord Your God Is With You Wherever You Go." ---Josh. 1:9

There Is A Distinct Difference Between:
    Faith And Believing:

Faith==Is A Power Of The Mind.
It Is A Part Of Your Being As A Person Created In The Image And Likeness Of God.
Believing Is The Use Of The Power Of Faith.

    When You Say

"I Believe" You Are Using Your Faith And Letting Go
    The Power Of Faith.
You Need To Understand That Faith Is The Power And Believing
Is The Conscious Use Of That Power.

To Say I Believe Should Be Said "I Believe In God":
I Believe In God In Me:

"Fear not, for I am with you, be
not dismayed, for I am your God: I will strengethen
you, I will help you, I will upload you with my victorious right hand."
    Isaiah 41:10

May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to
the steadfastness of Christ.- II Thess.3:

Waiting in the stillness is a kind of prayer,
for GOD already knows your hearts
    desire.
God is ever healing you. God is leading you on the path of light.
God promises to be with you, and so it is.
"Thank You, God, for Your ever-present peace that stills all anxiety."

"God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power and love
    and self-control". II TIMOTHY 1:7.

Why do we spend so little time in prayer?

God does not expect us to change the whole world.
He only wants us to do our part,
to grow where he has planted us.
We must realize that, although we cannot change the whole world,
there is much we can realistically accomplish through prayer.

Being consistent in our prayer life
can help us accomplish more than
we may have ever thought possible. A consistent  prayer
system can help us pray for a large group of people without feeling burdened.

Do we always, have to go down on our knees in prayer.
No, we can pray anytime anywhere.
Whether that prayer is out loud or silent
depends on where you are and appropriate circumstances.

Many short prayers throughout the day
are easier than praying an hour at a time.

Obviously, there’s no way to know,
at least in this lifetime, what impact your prayers
    will have on our world.
Who knows, your prayers might be
the catalyst that starts a revival in a remote part of the world. Maybe,
one day when you are walking on the streets of glory,
a person will come up to you and say,

    "Thank you.
It’s because of your prayers that I’m here in Heaven”
    .

    Mathew reads as follows :

"After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen." (Mathew 6:9-13). This Pattern of The Lords Prayer is also recorded in the Gospel of Luke.

    Mark 11:23-24

"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain,
    Be thou removed,
and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart,
    but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass;
he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you,
What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray,
believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

Will God answer all our prayers? No. its as simple as that.

First and foremost we should establish that the Holy scriptures are crystal clear that

the mind of God is to do His will, not ours.

God wants us to pray and He wants to answer our prayers,  To receive answers to

prayer we must meet God’s terms.

God gives us what we need, not always what we want.

In time of peril and strife we come to him in prayer, sometimes after a disaster,

    asking why.

Nature is a force in our world, God does not often stop those forces, he helps us

deal with them and how we cope with what comes our way.

First, because God told us to pray to the father for what we need. Thus, He wants

us to have communion with Him this way. God is all knowing and infinite.

We don't have to understand His counsel, but know it is for our good

Prayer  is our petition that His will shall be done.

We don’t always want Gods will to be done, we would rather ours are done but we

have to understand that prayer brings about intangible, internal, spiritual benefits

and growth for us, even when the petition is denied.

Our prayer is part of the preparation in our walk in this world.

Our prayer in repentance in seeking Him,

or in petitioning on behalf of others.

Prayer produces change in us and helps us deal and submit to accept the outcome.

Prayer gives us a hope that we can change things and a peace in our hearts and

mind that we have come close to God through prayer.
