          Belcher Blues Newsletter
          July 2005

Welcome to the March 2005 Issue of the Belcher Blues Newsletter
It has been a while since we sent out a newsletter, we hope you enjoy this patriotic one.
This issue contains some pages from a book in Northamptonshire England and other genealogy research. We also hope you enjoy the graphics. Our ancestors were very prominent in providing our future of freedom in this country.
We have a lot to be proud of and thankful for their sacrifices for our nation.

Remember our soldiers today that continue to fight for other nations freedom and to keep our country safe.
          Gayl Ramey Wells
          Gregory Clyde Belcher

We also had the following account sent to us. If anyone knows anything about this or has information on this book, please send it along.
Family Tree Maker C.D on Virginia Genealogies. Has a copy of "Victoria History of the Counties of England", edited by Oswell Barron which says "Henry Isham of the ancient house of Pitchley emigrated to Virginia.
Who his first wife was is unknown: several references to her suggest her name to be Elizabeth. Phoebe Isham is a daughter from this marriage and a son, Edward or Edmund."

Begun in 1899 and dedicated to Queen Victoria the Victoria County History (VCH) is creating an encyclopaedic history of the counties of England, based on original research and ranging from earliest times to the present.
