Hi,
My name is Charles Jason Justice and I did a little research on my family a couple of months ago and went back to 1625 with William Justice. I'll fill you in very quickly on my link. William (1625) had a son, John, who had a son, John. who had a son, William (1737), who had a son, William (1779), who had a son, Caleb (1810), who had a son, Philip (1836), who had a son, Benjamin (1866), who had a son, Thomas (1910), who had my father, Charles David Justice in 1946, and I was hatched in 1972. Our family lived in Charles City County, moving around a bit to the Carolinas and up into Floyd (Pike) County, KY. My branch moved up int the Jackson/Lawrence Co. region of Ohio after the Civil War and my g-grandfather, Benjamin Frank Justice moved up to Guernsey Co., OH (Cambridge) around 1916. My father moved south to Noble County (Sarahsville) and that is where I currently reside. Would appreiciate hearing from you regarding ANY Justice family history.
Cordially yours,
Chuck Justice

Hi, My name is Tim Belcher and I live in Pennsylvania. I hope you may be able to help me find some information about my Great-Grandfather. My problem is I'm not sure of his first name. My father wrote his name in the family bible as Talbert Stone Belcher and mother Angela Byrd. Their son (my grandfather) William Ernest Belcher born 1884 in Pike Co. KY., per 1900 WV census where he was listed living as a boarder with Burgess Belcher. I suppose he was sent to live with a relative sometime before his 16th birthday. I don't know the reason. The monkey wrench comes in when I found a copy of a Delayed Certificate of Birth filed in 1950 for social security purposes. He listed father as Burgess Belcher and mother as Angela Estep. He also list East Bank WV as his birth place. I guess what I'm looking for is a listing of William E. Belcher as child of a Belcher family in Pike Co. KY in 1890 census, he would have been 6 years old. I would appreciate any help or information you could give me.

I'm somewhat new to research involving Henry Lawson Wyatt, but I have found through the Internet that there are numerous people who have tried to solve some of the family puzzles. The Isham Belcher name as you presented it is actually the name of the couple ... Isham Belcher & Lucinda Wyatt are Isham Belcher Wyatt and Lucinda (Tucker) Wyatt. There is much to strongly suggest -- no "smoking gun" proof as yet -- that Isham Belcher Wyatt was the son of Randolph Wyatt and Tabitha Belcher, who married in 1813, in Chesterfield County. Tabitha was the daughter of Isham Belcher, also of Chesterfield, and thus she named her child after him.
If you come across anyone who has further information on this line, I'd appreciate it if you would give them my e-mail. Hope this helps,
Bob Merritt

My husband is Ralph Nutter. His father was Horace O. Nutter of Oxford, W. Va. Ralph often talks of Nutters Fort.
He was always told the fort was not for fighting indians but making love to the women. We have visited Nutters farm, which all the Nutters still own. It was in pretty good shape, for its age. It is outside Clarksburg. By the way, any Nutters who see this should check out missing money, as there are lots of Nutters who should be getting oil and gas revenues and are not receiving it as they cant be tracked down. great web site and I will book mark.
Thank You
