: Hi!
I was looking at your Civil war page on Missouri. The Belcher's in Jackman's Mo.Cav. were the sons of John and Lucinda (?) Belcher. They lived in Stone Co., Mo.. Their names was John, Thomas Hart, Isham(Isom). They had a sister named Mary. Also Elihu M. Hays was a brother-in-law and was also in the Jackman Mo. Cav with the Belcher Brothers
I'm the great-Great Granddaughter of Isham Belcher of Stone Co.,Missouri. He married Mary Hayes(Feb. 4, 1859 in Stone Co., Mo.) and they had a daughter named Martha A Belcher and she Married Samuel Eslick(1882 Ark.)(son Of Beden and Mary Jane (Wright)Eslick. Sam And Martha's Son was James Martin Eslick married Pearl Mae Young(My Grandparents..Pearls Parents was Isaac Young and Mary Jane Teague..
Thomas Hart Belcher married Lucretia(Rowe)Johnson(Feb. 28, 1858 in Stone Co.,Mo.).They moved to Craighead Co.,Ark (Census 1870 Texas Twp.). Then they moved to Johnson Co.,Texas...
John married Sarah Hayes/hays (Aug 6, 1860 in Stone Co.,Mo)After the war,he is living in Craighead Co.,Ark.(1870 census, next to his Brother)
In 1870 Isham was living in Lawrence Co., Ark... I found him in 1880 in Van Buren,Ark.(Lost him from here on). This is all the information I have right now. I would like to know who John belcher's parents was? The census says he came from Ky. I also would like to know Lucinda's maiden name, and who her parents are ? And anything else I can Find on My Great-Great Grandfather Isham Belcher. Any information would be helpful.

Hi, I was surfing when low and behold I come accross the Wells family. I was looking through it and came accross my husbands grandparents their names were Zilpha Wells and Malcome Fields. I know he will be excited to see this because he doesn't know any of his ancestors before Zilpha and Malcome. If there is anymore info you could tell us or any photos i know he would like to see them or hear a little more about some of his ancestors

Great site.
I'm looking for info on William and Juda Wells, who lived in Knox County, KY, from around 1805 until their deaths. William's father's name was Zachariah, who served in the Revolutionary War. He is listed on the 1820 Knox County Census.
William and Juda's family is listed on the 1820, 30, and 40 censuses of Knox County. I am descended from their son, Zachariah, but my knowledge of the family basically stops with William and Juda's names.
Can anyone help me out with info on William Wells? Feel free to email me directly.

Hi,
My maiden name was Ramey.
I have read "THE FRENCH FAMILY OF REMY" with great interest. My lineage going backwards as far as I know was myself, my father Alex Ray Ramey, my grandfather Asa Jack Ramey, my great grandfather was either Charles Ramey or Thomas Ramey (they were brothers). They were all from an area in Kentucky around Asa's Creek and Riceville, Kentucky. I still have relatives in Floyd, McGoffin and Jefferson County Kentucky. The largest town in that area is Prestonsburg and Paintsville, Kentucky. Can you make the connection between the end of your lineage and connect it to Charles or Thomas Ramey?

Thank you.
