The Old House stands alone,
A queer and crumbling pile;
And tho' its shattered gables tell--
Like the vibrations of a distant bell--
Of days and years, mayhap of centuries flown,
I cannot help but smile.

Hello,
I am researching the Lipford and Jackson Family of Tennessee and West Virginia. Inez Jackson, the daughter of Dave Jackson and Martha Jane Lipford of McDowell county, West Virginia married a Belcher. I was wondering if you would have any information on her and her family. Inez Jackson Belcher was born 1898. died 9-1995.

Thank You,
Sheila Ferchalk

Hi,
My name is David Chaney. I recently was given the "Chaney family Bible" from my family. My great grand father is Charles H. Chaney born on April 1, 1855. He was married To T.E. Barnett in Sharp County Arkansas in January of 1877. I know from the 1880 census that Charles H. Chaney was born in Tennessee but I don't know where and I don't know his parents names.
Do you have any Suggestions?

I am trying to get started in the right directioin with an elusive Belcher ancestor.
Her name was Mae Samaria Belcher. Her first child was born in 1902, so I estimate her birth was circa 1880-1885.
I believe her family lived in or near Vincennes, IN.
I have been told her mother's maiden name was Sanders / Saunders. Can you help me?
Thanks,
Kelly
