Wells is a very common name and many many wells lines exist.
this particular line of Wells is in controversy of who Zachariahs parents were.
My Cheney/chaney lines cross over the Wells lines in Prince George County Maryland. My own research on Zachariah through searching for my Chaney lines leads me to believe he is Richard Wells and Nancy Browne's son.
A Thomas Wells Descendant
It is not proven and is still being researched. Use This Website as a guide only
DONT TAKE EVERYTHING YOU FIND ON THE WEB AT FACE VALUE, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH AND GATHER YOUR OWN DOCUMENTATION.

Will of James Osborne:
Note: Whether this Abagale mentioned in James Osborn's Will is Zachariah sr's
wife is in question?? several genealogies have this Abagale as his wife,
others have a different Abigail dau of Caleb.

Describing the coat of arms as bearing a black lion rampant,
with a double tail and that it is on a gold field.
This coat of arms is the one widely used.
Chances of your line having a coat of arms is unlikely
