ESTATE RECORD


    
In the name of God______, I, *Adolphus M. Green of the town of Marion in the county of Livingston and State of Michigan Aged seventy-five years and upwards. And being of sound disposing(?)Mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say,

First, As my funeral expenses and all charges attending the same are fully provided for in an agreeement between me and my son-in-law Jonathan L. Davis. And I having conveyed to him by Warranty Deed all of my real estate for certain considerations therein mentioned. And by me modified changes And reduced(?) By an instrument in writing by me signed and acknowledged and dated the 17th day of May in the year 1869. And by me delivered to Jonathan L. Davis. It being the only disposition I devise to make of my real estate. I do therefore will and desire that the desposition I have made of my real estate shall remain as it is in Jonathan L. Davis and undisturbed by any person.

Second, And I do further will and desire that neither one of my heirs shall receive any _________for in this my last will and testament than I have provided for them in the instrument of writing. Signed and acknowledged by me and dated 17 May 1869 and witnessed by S.F. Hubbell and Jasper Coleman and by me delivered to Jonathan L. Davis.

     I give and bequeath and devise all of the residue of my estate real and personal to my daughter, Adaline J. Davis with whom I am residing in the town of Marion in the said County of Livingston.

Third, I appoint my friend, Hiram Baker, Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness where of I have here to subscribe my name this 19 day of May in the year 1869.

     We, whose names are here to subscribed do certify that Adolphus M. Green, the testator subscribed his name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us. And at the same time he declared in our presence and hearing that the same was his last will and testament and requested us and each of us to sign our names thereto as winesses to the execution thereof and which we have done accordingly in the presence of the testator and of each other the day of the date of said will. Andrew Black of the town of Howell, County of Livingston. J. L. Davis of the town of Marion, County of Livingston. Jasper Coleman of the town of Marion, County of Livingston.

(After Adolphus M. Green died 28 June 1869 Livingston Co., Michigan, the estate papers were filed by Hiram P. Baker, as executor of the will. He filled in the following paragraph for the estate record.)

     Other persons interested in his estate are as follows:
Willard Green and *Mason Green who reside in Ohio. Sally Abbott, Adeline Davis, Lucinda Kuhn, Emeline Barber, Rheubin Green and heirs of Milo Green who reside in Livingston Co., in state of Michigan. And to heirs of (can't read crossed out) And others name unknown who reside in Ingham County.
Note: There was a notice published in the newspaper, Livingston Democrat, once a week of four weeks. First published 1 DEC 1869 about the estate.
