ROBERT
MCWHORTER/ MEWHORTER
In the name of the Benevolent Father of All,

I, *Robert MeWhorter of Marion County, Ohio being of sound and disposing(?) memory and desiring to dispose of all my earthly goods as seem with and proper do make and declare this to be my last will and testament.

Item 1st I desire(?) that my Executor pay all my just debts and my funeral expenses.

Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Sarah A. MeWhorter (McWhorter) of Noble County, Indiana the sum of six Hundred Dollars to be paid in this one year after my decease but in case she shall not survive me I give the same sum to her descendents to be distributed in equal parts. The descendents of any deceased child or grandchild to take the share of their parents in Equal parts among them.

Item 3rd I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Hannah Jane Burk of Wyandot County the sum of six hundred dollars to be paid within one year after my decease but in case she does not survive me the same distribution to be made to her descendents as set forth in the first in the case of Sarah A. MeWherter.

Item 4th I give and bequeath to my grand daughter *Mary Jane Campbell of Wyandot Co., Ohio the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to be paid within one year after my decease but in case she shall not survive me I give the said sum to her descendents.

Item 5th I give and bequeath to Alice P. Brewer who I ____ ____as a token of my affection for her the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to be paid within one year after my decease but if she shall not survive me I give the same to her descendents and in addition to the said sum I give and bequeath to her One Cow and One bedstead and bedding ___I ___ to be ___to her at my decease.

Item 6th I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Mary A. Johnson of Wyandot County Ohio the fallowing tract of land lying and being situated in the County of Wyandot in State of Ohio and known as the East half of the South East Quarter of Section Nine township Four South of Range Twelve (12) and thirteen(13) East containing Eighty Acres but in case she shall not survive me I desire that the premise be sold by my Executor and the proceeds thereof be divided among all my heirs each to share and share alike.

Item 7th I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Elizabeth A. Smith of Marion County, Ohio as desiring to recognize her kind treatment and in caring for me in my declining years in a suitable manner, the equal undivided one third part of the following real estate situated in Marion County Ohio and known as the Equal undivided one third part of the north half of the north west quarter of section Five (5) township Five (5) South of Range Fifteen (15) East containing Eighty acres. Also Ten acres of land Commencing? at the northwest corner of the east half of the south west quarter of ___section Five (5) Thence East sixty rods? (60) Thence south ___ ___ acres in quantity Thence ____sixty rods (60) Thence north to the place of beginning, ___ the Equal undivided one third of the above ten acres. Also the Equal undivided one third part of the south west quarter of the north west quarter of section Five (5)Township Five (5) South of Range fifteen East Containing Forty acres. And also the Equal undivided and third part of the following described premises The South East quarter of the north west quarter of section Five (5) township (5) Five south Range (15) Fifteen east containing Forty _____containing in all One Hundred and seventy? Acres and in addition I give her One Bull and all the cows on the farm at my decease ____ and excepting the ___given to Alice P. Brewer and in addition one half of all the Young Cattle sheep and hogs on the farm at my decease and all household good and kitchen furniture excepting two beds and bedding but if she shall not survive me I give the same to her descendents.

Item 8th I give and bequeath to my son Henry C. MeWhorter of Marion County Ohio the Equal and undivided one half of the following premises. Known as the West half of the South West quarter of section twenty nine? And the East half of the south East quarter of section thrity in township four? South of Range fourteen (14) East containing in all One Hundred and sixty acres _____ but in case he shall not survive me I give the same premises to his descendents.

Item 9th I give and bequeath to my son Isiah the Equal one half ____ of the previously described in the 8th making and constituting a Joint ownership of the premises with Harry C. MeWhorter. Should he not survive me I give the said premise to his decendents.

Item 10th I give and bequeath to my son *Isaac the premises purchased by me at Sheriff sale in a case in Whetstone twp. Was Plantiff VS I.B. Eatherter?____ ____ and buy a lot in Marion, Marion County __ part of ___ for description see deed records in the records office of Marion Co., Ohio.

Item 11th I give and bequeath to my son Davic C. MeWhorter the following ____ ____West half of the West ___of the south west quarter of section ten township five south of Range fourteen (14) containing forty acres ____ ____ ___ ____.

Item 12th I give and bequeath to my son James Mewhorter the ___Equal one third of all real estate described in Item 7th of this my will. But in case he shall not survive me I give the said to his heirs forever.

Item 13th I give and bequeath to my son W.C Mewhorter the equal undivided one third part of all the real estate in Item 7 to him as his heirs forever. In addition I give him all the horse and ____ ___ at my decease and all farey? utensils Wagons Harness of which ___ ___ I have on the farm at my decease and the one half of all the young cattle sheep and hogs ___ my own at my decease and one bed and bedding.

Item 14th I hereby nominate and appoint Robert Hopkins of Marion Ohio Executor of this my last will and testament ___bonds as the nature of my Estate may require leaving the ___to the _____ of the Probate Court of Marion County, Ohio and also appoint B.F. Stahl Atty for my Executor. And I hereby revoke all former wills by me made. In Witness whereof I Robert Mewhorter ___set my hand this 14th day of October in 1882.
