Floral cards were extremely popular in this era. The Tuck company, �Art Publishers to Their Majesties The King & Queen,� was the largest British publisher of picture postcards. On the back of the card to the right is the imprint, Raphael Tuck & Sons �Art� Series 6881. Tuck�s cards were printed and numbered in a series to appeal to the many persons collecting cards during the first 15 years of the 20th Century. In the corner it says, �Chromographed in Saxony.� Most cards sold before World War I were printed in Germany or Austria. |
