His parents were Christoph Frederick and Johanna (R�SCH) GERLACH. Christoph and Johanna had 5 children. Two of the 5 came to America. Besides Frederick his younger brother Ludwig Jonathan came to America in 1857. Christoph was born 1781 and Johanna in 1801 both in Lauffen am Neckar, W�rtemberg,Germany.
