You have reached the Genealogy Home Page of Glenn G. Snider.
As of August, 2000, there are over 3,800 Individuals, Ancestors and Descendants, in my database and lots of "NOTES". I started to get obsessed with this genealogy in 1980.
This database is short on Sources and long on NOTES, Biographies, and Historical Sketches. I am not a "purist" in the sense of traditional researching. I'm more of a collector or a compiler.  Personal Histories, Biographical Sketches are more interesting to me than just substantiating a lot of dates and/or sources.

Most of my Data comes from past direct interviews, data from the LDS History Center in Salt Lake City done by a friend that goes there each year, some was acquired from D.A.R. Applications, many from returned queries, like yours, made over the Internet, and from Personal Ancestral Files (on CD's) at the local LDS Family History Center and from such books as:
   "History of Albemarle County in Virginia" by Edgar Woods, and
   "Historical Sketches of Adams, Robertson Co., and PORT ROYAL,
   Montgomery Co., Tennessee, From 1779 to 1968" by
   Ralph L Winters (1978). This book contains extensive data
   on the surnames of: "Fort", "Connell", "Prince", "Gardner" plus
   dozens more. This book is available for about $20 from Ralph
