What's the mailing list for?
It's for the discussion and sharing of information regarding the Girling surname and variations of the surname, in any place and at any time.

How does it work?
When you join the list, you are linked up by email to a group of people researching the same surname. A member can send an email to the 'list' about their interests and each list member will receive a copy. Your email address is not revealed to other group members until you send an email to the list.

How much does it cost?
It's free.

Do I have to be a Girling?
No.

There are two ways of subscribing:
a) You can subscribe to the Girling list in 'mail mode', which means you will receive a copy of each message individually. To subscribe, send an e-mail by clicking on the 'mail mode' link below. Please type the word 'SUBSCRIBE' in the body of the e-mail and nothing else.

b) You can subscribe in 'digest' mode, which means several postings are combined and sent to you together as a single large message. To subscribe this way, send an e-mail by clicking on the 'digest' link below. Please type the word 'SUBSCRIBE' in the body of the e-mail and nothing else.
