About This Page I started researching our family
ancestors about twenty years ago and have just recently gotten the nerve
to post to a website so here we are. The information I've gathered
has come from talking with parents, corresponding with many aunts,
uncles, cousins and internet contacts as well as endless hours in libraries
and federal depositories.
I do not claim ownership
of this research -- I have felt from the beginning that it belongs
to the family. My purpose, beyond my own curiosity, is for our
children to understand where our roots go.
There is still a lot to do. Not all the family links work and I haven't learned how to present a guest book for you to sign but those things are coming. I'm doing this by myself so the progress may be slow but please don't give up on me. I hope you enjoy seeing our families on the web as much as I've enjoyed gathering the information and posting it.
