Clapp Cemetery

This cemetery is located a few miles north east of Trinity. We finished this in the dark, so, unfortunately, some of the photos were hard to read. If you can fill in any ??, please e-mail.

A big thank you to Frances Haworth for helping with some of the ??.

Please note that the comments column contains my personal observations and things I thought would be helpful. Also, I recorded every marker, which means, one person may be recorded twice if they had two markers (i.e. a military marker in addition to their family marker). If you have any questions after viewing the list, please e-mail me at Letty Harrington.

This cemetery was transcribed by Letty Harrington on Oct. 7, 2000. This transcription is not connected to the Clapp Cemetery or the County of Walker. This information is a personal project only. The information herein is given freely for personal use and can not be linked to any commerical sites. *NOTE: This was transcribed using a digital camera. Single requests of headstone images (e-mail, no hard copy) will be fulfilled to the best of our ability.

Contributed by Hubert Atkinson: My Grandparents, Daniel B. Atkinson, wife Louella Andrews, are buried in Clapp. The graves were never formally marked.
