Victorian Has Two Brothers Who Are Also Wearing the Uniform; Was Wounded Before.

Pt. Isaac Goudie who was wounded on September 27, 1916, has been killed in action while serving with the 28th Battalion. He was hit on August 1, according to word received by his mother, Mrs. M. A. Goudie, of 18 Swan Street of this city.

Before joining the forces Pte. Goudie had been employed for a period of five years at the Lemon, Gonasson mill. He enlisted in January, 1916, in the 88th Battalion. Three brothers are also in khaki, Peter at present being at Esquimalt Hospital. George is acting as a sniper in France and James is with a Forestry battalion. There are also five sisters in the family.
