National Archives of Canada - Microfilm copies of selected National Archives records are available at the PAM. Researchers can request additional NAC microfilm through inter-library loan. La Soci�t� historique de Saint-Boniface (SHSB) - The archives and resource centre promote genealogical research pertaining to French-Canadian and M�tis families in Manitoba, western and eastern Canada. The Library contains more than 10,000 volumes dealing with the history of Western Canada. The SHSB will conduct genealogical research for a fee. Manitoba M�tis Federation M�tis Federation - Founded in 1967 to represent Manitoba�s 120,000 M�tis people and to build the M�tis nation. With headquarters in Winnipeg, the MMF has seven regional offices and 130 locals throughout the province.

Treaty and Aboriginal Rights Research Centre (TARR) - Provides historical research services to fifty-seven of the sixty-one First Nations in Manitoba. The focus of research has been on Indian rights, hunting, fishing, trapping and gathering rights and on Indian lands (reserve alienations, surrenders. leases, expropriations). TARR has a library and microfilm copies of records from the National Archives of Canada, Department of Indian Affairs records (RG 10), Church Missionary Society records and other historical records and resources pertaining to First Nations people.
