and Eliza Angeline Webb.
Lash lived in Camden Co. Missouri next
to Simon and Elizabeth Scott.
Simon and Lash Scott were cousins.
Sarah was called "Frank" by the family.

Linn Creek Man Died July 17 at Jefferson Barracks Hospital

Ferd Scott well known Linn Creek man passed away in the Veteran's
Hospital at Jefferson Barracks, last Tuesday, July 17, following a
lingering illness of about two years.
Interment was made in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Boonville, MO.

Ferd Scott was born in Camden county the son of Mr.and Mrs. Elisha
Scott, August 28, 1892.
His mother preceded him in death several years ago.

During his active manhood he was employed by the United States
Government and worked on the Missouri River in this
capacity for approximately 30 years. He was a veteran of
World War I, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

For the past three months he had been a patient in the
Veteran Hospital at Jefferson Barracks, where he accepted Jesus Christ
as his Savior and expressed him self as being ready to go.

Following his retirement from government work he devoted his
time to caring for his aged father in their Linn Creek home.
All during his life he was very thoughtful of his parents and their comfort.
He likewise contributed much of his time and energy to the raising
of a nephew, Earl Miller, the son of his deceased sister, Mattie
Miller, of whom he was very fond. He leaves his father, Elisha of the home.
Two sisters, Mrs. Maud Hedrick of Valley Park, MO; Mrs. Mary Whalen,
of Boonville MO. and his 5 nephews and three nieces , as well as other
relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted from a Funeral Parlor in
Boonville Thursday afternoon July 19th.
