Jan, s/o Nicholas VANDERGRIFT & Barentje VERKERCKEN, was baptized 1 Jan 1691 New Utrecht, NY & d 27 Aug 1765 Bensalem, Bucks Co., PA. Paulus VANDERGRIFT was a personal friend of Peter STUYVESANT.
